CALENDAR FOR SELECTING DATE BY PIERFRANCESCO ROS
After 10 years of development and study thanks to numerous cross-analyses thanks to sophisticated different methods used to select auspicious dates, we have managed to compile this unique calendar, indispensable for all Feng Shui studies.
This calendar, which is compiled to order, and has been designed for easy and quick consultation even for those who are not so familiar with methods such as Feng Shui, Ba zi, Xuan kong da gua, Qi men dun jia, Ze Ri and similar techniques.
Data compilation:
Let’s start by describing how we came to define all the data entered in this system.
First of all, we started as a basis for consultation from the famous Chinese almanac called Tong Shu or rather Tung Shing (通 勝), which means “victorious in everything”.
Most of the contents of this book written in Chinese deal with what is appropriate to do every day.
The topics of analysis focus on the propitious moments of different events such as wedding ceremonies, funeral ceremonies, cutting hair, hunting, fishing, buying animals, repairing a wall, tidying up the kitchen, buying clothes, moving houses, contracts, starting renovation work, etc.
In addition to this we also find a breviary of ethics and values through the narration of various stories
we find treatises on physiognomy and palm reading
astronomical concepts, and finally the auspicious dates.
Let’s look at the latter in detail:
Now this part is based primarily on a basic classification system called Dong Gong (an ancient system of date selection dating back to the Master Born Dong De Zhang of the Ming Dynasty 1368-1644) which gives the energetic value of the day according to the number of the month and the animal of the day.
This method uses the so-called stars of the 12 Officials which give further indications on what to do on a given day. This method is based on the fact that each day or month is influenced by a specific star of a governing Official who gives the directives of what is best to do.
Then there is the method of the 28 constellations which each represent an energy and sector in the sky which also govern the days and months and give the specific directives of when to start the possible activities.
To be able to interpret this first part you need to have a good foundation in Ba Zi and knowledge of the Chinese rural calendar.
However, the Chinese almanac that is compiled every year in China remains a text that is a bit too general and often not very useful, as it assigns events that are not so repetitive in a life (see marriage or funeral) or so important (buying animals, repairing a wall, buying clothes), and it does not even go into the specifics of the person in a detailed way as it is not based on sophisticated systems linked to the date of birth of each person.
In fact, the text on which the almanac is based is the famous text
“Unifying Time and Understanding Dimensions”
Written in a few copies in Hong Kong
INTEGRATED SYSTEM BY PIERFRANCESCO ROS:
To overcome this, modernizing the calendar of auspicious dates for more significant and repetitive events in the management reality of a life and to make everything customizable, we wanted to integrate the annual Tong Shu with sophisticated systems deriving from Ba zi, Xuan kong da gua and Dong Gong that date back to the principles linked to Qi men dun jia.
A set of calendars was thus defined for the selection of auspicious dates at a professional level for General purposes and a set of calendars for Personal purposes.
Even if the procedures for defining the dates are very complex, these calendars have been simplified to the maximum to be usable by everyone, allowing a quick and concise reading thanks to the assignment of colored boxes on the various themes on the various days of the year.
We can clearly say that this type of modernized date notions is not only useful to the Feng Shui consultant alone, but to anyone who wants to organize and manage the daily resources available much better …
Let’s see what we will find in this integrated set:
