Basel has the reputation of being one of the most important cultural cities in Europe. In 1997 it fought to become the European Capital of Culture.
We will go to see the Vitra Museum in Ghery
For design and architecture enthusiasts, the Vitra Museum in Weil am Rhein is a kind of “wonderland” of Design. Here we find a concentration of excellent signatures such as Tadao Ando, Antonio Citterio, Zaha Hadid, Jean Prouvè, Frank Gehry who signed the Vitra Design Museum.
The fascinating experience in the Vitra is that, from the point of view of the principles of Feng Shui Architecture, we find both harmonious and disharmonious modern architecture.
And the interesting question is that the concept of “Harmony” will be felt with the “body”, an instrument par excellence that can give parameters of well-being…
That surpasses all those stylistic and formal concepts of an intellectual nature …
We will also visit the Goetheanum in Dornach
The Goetheanum is the monumental building designed by Rudolf Steiner. The first Goetheanum (called Johannesbau – Giovanni building – until 1918), built entirely of wood, was completely destroyed in an arson attack on December 31, 1922. The building was designed as a headquarters for the dissemination of Anthroposophy and its structure is a real book in which the philosopher’s thought materializes through architectural elements, laying the foundations for Organic Architecture, which uses the same principles that we find in Feng Shui Architecture, or Holistic Architecture.
Its name is a tribute to the great romantic writer, philosopher and German scientist Goethe.
After Rudolf Steiner’s death, the new Goetheanum was completed, which, instead of sculptures carved and modeled in wood, was created with reinforced concrete with absolutely cutting-edge technical and artistic solutions.
The model was created by Rudolf Steiner himself before he died.
Steiner defined the Goetheanum as “a living building placed inside a plastic body”.
The fascinating thing is to note that we find here the same principles that the ancient Chinese, 3000 years ago used to create places of “power”.
We find the concept of ming tang both external and internal with a right caliber of landscape forces (landscape qi).
The building respects the energetic representation of the 4 animals, both externally and internally.
In the central hall we find the path of man represented, the art of living is accomplished by means of the forces of repulsion and greed…
Both in the forms and in the color we find a continuous reference to the balance of the Yin and Yang forces.
“Almost symmetrical” symmetries, organic plasticity, shades that pass from one color to another are all principles that resume the organic theme of nature.
The key to understanding is that this work should not be observed in its stylistic or formal aspect, but rather in its aspect of “sounding board”
We also find charging forms that resemble Feng Shui activators
And here we are all together The boiler that was used for coal heating.
We will also go to visit the sponsor company
Which in this case is Laufen one of the leading companies of sanitary ware
There will also be many moments of leisure
Excellent restaurants
Guided tours of the city
… and we will also stay in an Excellent Hotel …. we are waiting for you
