Introduction
The Theory of the Eight Palaces is based on the Qing Dynasty book: Ba Zhai Ming Jing, translated as “The Luminous Mirror of the Eight Palaces”. It is said that this book was probably written by Yang Yun Sung (834 AD, 900 AD). The system of the Eight Palaces is very popular in Asia and the East.
This method considers that space can be divided into eight parts, each of which has a certain type of Chi that touches the occupants in a particular way. This Chi is considered invisible in opposition to the visible, tangible Chi, which is studied especially in the School of Forms.
The spaces are governed by the Wandering Saddles, which are deduced from the Trigrams of the Ba Gua.
